Levamisole Hydrochloride Tablets

COMPOSITION

Each tablet contains Levamisole Hydrochloride 150mg/ 300mg/ 600mg/ 1000mg/ 2500mg.

INDICATIONS

Antiparasitic. For the control and treatment of gastrointestinal nematodes, nematodes for cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs, cats and poultry and pig kidney disease


DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For oral administration.

Cattle, pigs, goats and sheep: 7.5mg/kg body weight.

Dogs and cats: 10mg/kg body weight.

Poultry: 25mg/kg body weight.

ADVERSE REACTION

Cattle may appear parasympathetic symptoms, nose and mouth bubbling or salivation, excitement or trembling, lips and shaking his head and other adverse reactions. Symptoms generally diminish within 2 hours. Sheep may occur temporary excitement after administration, goats may occur depression, sensory hypersensitivity and salivation. Pigs may occur salivation or mouth and nose bubbling.

Dogs may occur gastrointestinal disorders such as vomiting, diarrhea, neurotoxicity such as breathing, shaking his head, anxiety or other behavioral changes, agranulocytosis, pulmonary edema, immune-mediated rash. Cat may occur salivation, excitement, dilated pupils and vomiting and so on.

SPECIAL WARNINGS

Do not use in lactating animals. Use cautiously in horse and do not use in camel. When an animal is extremely weak or have significant kidney damage, due to cattle immune, dehorning, castration and other stress occurs, it should be used with caution or delay use. When intoxication can be treated with atropine and other symptomatic treatment.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

Cattle: 2 days.

Sheep, goats and pigs: 3 days.

Poultry: 28 days.
